“Impatience is the new life”
Blogger has been very annoying lately. It dislikes my commenting on other people’s blogs, it dislikes my trying to complete my template - it even tries to stop me from posting! First I thought it was because of the internet - which had been acting up (surprise!) - but that got okay. It’s still astonishingly slow though. Why can’t there be broadband which is fast, reliable and inexpensive (simultaneously)?
<geek>My computer refuses to recognise my external hard drive when I connect it to the front USB ports. My (Intel) mobo manual says the front ones are also USB 2.0. Wth?</geek>
I went to school yesterday! It was fun, meeting all my teachers and friends - though it felt a little odd too, if you know what I mean :D.

Does your external HDD by any chance have two USB inputs? If that's the case, it'll not work with the front ports because of some "power issues". This is what my computer guy told me. I think it's utter bullshit and he just wanted to give me a reason for it not working. :/
No, it doesn't - it's got only one. It's a WD My Passport drive thingus.
Well yeah, usually, external drives don't work with front USB ports coz they're usually USB1.1 and can't supply enough power to the drive, but mine are supposed to be 2.0! :/
Yeah, I know. But most CPU's today have front USB 2.0 ports and so were mine and I pointed that out to him but he refused to listen. I decided to shut up because I was pretty sure he was gonna come up with a "How the distance between the motherboard and the front USB ports is more than the distance from the back USB ports and so it doesn't work" logic. :/

Lets just say I can't remember the last time I went to school. I might have gone for the report cards or something, never after that. Avoided all reunions, too. There hasn't been a person happier to get out of school.
OK, blogger has been irritating me exceedingly too. It takes AGES to publish a tiny post.
Even I went to school few days back. I didn't meet too many people. I just saw that Shobha Mehta Ma'am is Vice Principal now....... :S
